Variety Class
Offers the most to the student especially those just starting out. A taste of BALLET, JAZZ & TAP enables the student to learn all types of dance that very much work together with coordination, rhythm and lots of FUN!
Tiny Tots & Beginner 1
Offers the above along with line, circle work and novelty numbers to challenge the young ones attention spans.
Kidz Hop
Based on Hip Hop for age 6. Kidz Hop is age appropriate moves and clean, fun kids music!! Children still must learn the fundamentals of dance, therefore this is a supplemental class that students may take in addition to a Variety Class.
Pointe
Students are eligible only upon recommendation of the instructor. Students must be at least 12 years of age to enroll in beginner pointe.
Hip Hop
This dance class is enjoyed by both boys and girls who want to learn the latest urban dance steps that are influenced by some of today’s hottest video choreographers presented in an age appropriate manner. Elements include proper conditioning and warm-up, individualized dance steps and full-bodied combinations.
Tap
Tap is a style that uses precise rhythmical patterns of foot movement to create audible sounds. Dancers will learn rhythms, patterns, and choreography.
Jazz
Jazz is a stylistic form of dance that focuses on jumps, turns, and leaps. Jazz dancers will learn progression across the floor as well as choreography.
Ballet
Ballet is a classical form of dance characterized by grace and precision of movement and by elaborate formal gestures, steps and poses. Dancers will learn the fundamentals of ballet based on their skill level.
Lyrical/Contemporary
Lyrical is a contemporary dance form that has its roots in ballet, modern and jazz. Classes include floor and center work that incorporates each student’s personal expression.
Adult Classes
Incorporates Tap & Jazz technique in a NO TIGHTS REQUIRED class! NEW Burlesque Jazz Class!
Parent-Tot (19-30 months)
Parent and child explore basic movements and coordination skills. ($45.00 per month).
Musical Theatre
Theatrical performance is exaggerated through this dance form. Musical Theatre class will focus on learning proper dance technique while exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows and movies. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with Broadway style jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations. Emphasis will also be placed on learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience and telling a story through dance and facial expressions.
